About

Welcome to Wellness for My Soul! This is where I write about my adventures exploring better nutrition and fitness to improve my overall health and wellness.

I've been focused on getting more physically fit and eating healthier over the past year and dropped 16 lbs (yay!). However, after a little more research, I'm looking to take things further and planning to explore some other ideas like juicing, juice fasting, eating a mostly raw diet, and limiting as much as possible any processed foods or animal products. My husband is  happily taking part in this journey, and though not quite as ambitious as I am, he's looking forward to seeing the difference in how he feels on a day-to-day basis. And so am I! And if you're curious, as far as my children go, I'm not focused at all on eliminating anything from their diet at this point, but instead on adding a lot of healthy things to it.

About me:

I'm a 30 year old mother of two AMAZING boys, ages 5 and 2. I own a photography business and mostly work from home so I can be with them and watch them grow. My husband, Clayton, and I have been married for 6 years and he is everything I ever hoped for in a mate. I simply adore him.

A few random facts about me:
  • I am in love with love.
  • I am a follower of Christ
  • I am a terrible dancer, and an even worse singer.
  • I am a knitter, novice sewer, and wannabe crafter.
  • I am a former “military brat”.
  • I am an optimist.
  • I am obsessed with being early.
  • I am social.
  • I am a notorious caffeine junky and hoping to change that.
  • I am sentimental.
  • I am really quite happy.
I hope you enjoy following along on my journey!
